Getting a Visa

Do you need help with correct and swift processing of the Russian visa? MSU Russian Language Centre is here to support the students in getting through all the procedures without any troubles.

We will write an invitation letter for a student visa application.

How to get an invitation letter

Fill out your application

Fill out your application (please note that you have to fill out the Place of Work section, including your employer name, address, and position occupied)

Send us a copy of your passport first page (the bio-data page),

including the date of birth information and the extension stamp. Please

We will process your invitation letter

and email you a copy

Attention!
  • An invitation letter will be processed only provided that you sent in the filled out application form and a passport scan not less than 30 days prior to your arrival
  • Passport validity period should be not less 1.5 years from the date of entry to Russia
  • Only the visa received based on our invitation letter will allow you to stay at the MSU hostel

How to get a visa

To get a Russian visa, you will have to visit the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your country, submitting a copy of your invitation letter. If needed, we will also send you the original invitation letter.

The processing time for a Russian visa
is a minimum of 5 working days

Accommodation during the studies

We offer our students two accommodation options during the studies

In a host family

Get to experience the Russian hospitality! The families living near the University or downtown will be happy to welcome you for the entire period of your studies at the MSU Russian Language Center. You will have a separate room, breakfast for a small fee, and interesting interlocutors to practice your language skills.

Apart-hotel

Would you like to live in the downtown Moscow? Would you like to have easy access to all the sightseeings and cultural events? Apart-hotel is exactly what you need.

Apart-hotel is located in the Moscow downtown.

Single rooms are available. Internet, kitchen, and other facilities are provided.

Transfer

Do you really want to know what Russian taxis are all about? Are you curious about notorious Moscow traffic?

We will pick you up at the airport and take you to the place of your studies or accommodation. It is comfortable and safe.
